Dr. Farkhanda Ghafoor has served in Pakistan Medical Research Council (currently named as Health Research Institute), for 30 years. Before joining SMDC she was Head of laboratories & Research at PKLI. She is also member of National Bioethics committee, Provincial Bioethics Committee, Secretary SMDC-Scientific Committee & SMDC-IRB. She is also Chairperson SSHAS-IRB. She is also founder member Lahore Bioethics Group.
