Dr. Muhammad Zafar Rafique is an experienced Radiologist and academician with extensive expertise in diagnostic imaging, radiology education, research, and image-guided interventions.

His CV lists his present appointment as Professor, Department of Radiology, Fatima Memorial Hospital, Lahore, from September 2014 onward. He previously served there as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, as a Senior Instructor/Instructor and completed his residency in Radiology there. He has also held clinical positions in Medicine, Pediatrics and Pathology.

Dr. Rafique has extensive experience teaching medical and paramedical undergraduate students as well as postgraduate Radiology trainees.

His research and publications cover areas including MRI, CT imaging, skeletal and brain tumors, transcatheter embolization, abdominal imaging, cerebral venous disorders, Doppler sonography and other diagnostic radiology topics. His dissertation focused on the role of MRI in the diagnosis and management of skeletal tumors.
