Shalamar Hospital’s 1st International Research Assembly: A Launchpad for Healthcare Innovation!

Shalamar Hospital proudly hosted the groundbreaking 1st International Research Assembly: NextGen Med. This landmark event served as a dynamic platform for exploring the future of healthcare innovation.

The assembly featured a diverse program, including an inspiring Poster Fest showcasing cutting-edge research, innovative AIDEAs (AI-driven ideas) presentations, and a thought-provoking Socratic Seminar fostering in-depth discussion.  A highlight of the event was the keynote address by Dr. Agha Ali Raza from LUMS, who shared his expertise on the transformative role of AI in healthcare.

A special thank you to Prof. Azra Mahmud, Consultant Hypertension & Internal Medicine and esteemed member of the Research Advisory Committee (RAC), for her exceptional leadership in organizing and chairing this remarkable assembly.  The success of the event was also a testament to the dedication and collaborative efforts of the multidisciplinary team of doctors and researchers involved.
